This beautiful image was taken recently by a NASA MODIS satellite (click to enlarge).

Anyone want to venture a guess as to what we’re looking at (location and/or feature)?

    Willoughby Owen correctly identified the location of this image on Facebook earlier today…this is a polar low to the southeast of Greenland, with Iceland to the southwest (lower left part of the image).
